It is intended for suppression of fungal pathogenic organisms.

The active substance is the culture liquid containing spores and mycelium of fungus-antagonist of the genus Trichoderma of the strain LZ 15 and also biologically active substances produced by the fungal culture in the process of cultivation.

«Trichodermin» suppresses the development of plant pathogenic fungi by direct parasitizing, competition for substrate, secretion of enzymes, antibiotics (gliotoxin, viridine, trichodermin and others) and other biologically active substances that suppress the development of many types of activators of diseases, and suppress their reproductive capacity.

Due to the high biological activity the fungus quickly develops the substrate; it is actively involved in the decomposition of organic compounds, in the processes of ammonification and nitrification, in strengthening of phosphorus and potassium mobilization enriching the soil by the mobile forms of nutrients.

Released in the process of vital activity the biologically active substances stimulate the growth and development of plants enhancing their resistance to diseases.

In the soil the fungus develops itself on different vegetation residues rich in cellulose, on mycelium and on resting fruit bodies of phytopathogens. The temperature optimum for its development in the culture is +24... +28°C. The fungus is an aerobe and that explains its rapid development in well-aerated soils, rich in organic substances. The fungus can develop in the wide range of soil pH, but his antagonistic properties reveal most effectively in the soil with pH 5-7.

«Trichodermin» suppresses the pathogens transmitted through the soil and crop residues. Culture Trichoderma parasitizes on sclerotia of the fungus Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, pseudosclerotia fungus Rhizoctonia solani, active against fungi genera Alternaria, Ascochyta, Botrytis, Colletotrichum, Fusarium, Helminthosporium, Pythium, Phoma, Phytophthora, Verticillium. Positive results were obtained from the use of preparations in the fight against fungi of the genus Cytospora causing cancer and drying of sprouts of drupaceous sorts.

«Trichodermin» effectively suppresses the fungal diseases and protect against infection:

  • root rot (pitysnia, rhizoctonia, fusarium);
  • wilting of different etiology;
  • diseases of the leaves and stems (ascochyta-leaf spot and anthracnose, alternaria and grey rot).

  • cereals (wheat, rye, barley, corn);
  • technical (sugar beet, rapeseed, sunflower, soy);
  • fruits and berries (Apple, pear, cherry, plum, grapes, currant, gooseberry, and strawberries);
  • vegetables of the open and closed ground;
  • roses in greenhouses, ornamental trees and bushes;
  • seedlings of flower cultures;
  • room flowers.

It is compatible with biological preparations «Phytodoctor», «Gaubsin», «Biomag», «Biophosphorin» and others under the condition of keeping interval in their application at least 7-14 days, and also with chemical herbicides and insecticides.
Incompatible with chemical fungicides.
